I have tried quite a few barbecue places in Northwest Arkansas (maybe not all of them yet) but so far spoken Joe's flavor is the best !!!! Best value for around $20 in town I’d say. 4 rib plate is often more. They are big, not the tiny ones. They are lean not a bunch of fat layers yet flavorful. Try sweet potatoes fries dipped in honey for a side or a dessert for me. Everything I’ve tried a good. I love the 80’s videos in there. It’s a nice looking place. Not fancy but nice. And food comes quick. 11/2025- Tempted to remove a star tonight on a to go order. But I won't let one waitress cause that. I called in an order and ordered potato salad. And she wouldn't let me order a kid size ribs . That's what I get when I go in to eat . Several of them have understood that I've had a digestive disease and surgeries and can barely eat meat but I love their ribs . My family loves their potato salad. But this time instead of the white potato salad it was mustard potato salad and we do not like it. Since I'm not supposed to have mustard I tried very little. I probably called about eight times before someone quit hanging up on me and took my order. Yes literally eight times before I got to give my order . I'm thinking this was a young person and they were really busy at dinner time. I did not enjoy my meal tonight which is unusual from there. Maybe just this is just a one time thing and I'll try it again another day .

We were out with some of our family today and was looking for a place to eat close to our location... Smokin Joe's was about a mile away. Our waitress, BROOKE, was very attentive and jovial. . She took our orders and they were very promptly brought to our table - everything tasted great - but the meats were only warm.. not hot, as they should be. But certainly not cold. I would definitely visit this place again. We were impressed by all of the wait staff, they were all hustling. . GREAT JOB staff

The portion was massive. Unless you are really hungry, I would suggest you order from kids meal. I got a kids meal cheeseburger and that was awesome. We also had a 4 rib meals and it was a lot of food. Ribs was very tender. Love the sweet potato fries!

We met some friends for dinner and had great service from Mia. They have an expansive menu and a lot of sides to choose from. I do wish they had soda water, which is super easy to add to any fountain setup. The drinking glass is like big gulp size and takes up a significant amount of table space, as does the barbecue sauce selection caddy, honey and butter dishes and paper towel roll. Everything was clean and not sticky, which is important. I enjoyed the brisket and hot link. The prices for the quantity were reasonable. I had the okra, it wasn’t quite done but I still enjoyed it. The coleslaw was just okay, needed a little vinegar in my opinion. My husband had the ribs, he thought they were good but a bit salty. Salad looked great, but the bowl was too small to make any attempt at stirring the dressing in. I don’t mean to be nit picky, just saying there’s some easy considerations to improve the customer experience. Wet wipes are always a necessity at a bbq joint. Fortunately, the big roll of paper towels and my big gulp water glass doubled as a wash basin . I’d go back, but if I was seeking the best bbq brisket I wouldn’t pick Joe’s first.

Fantastic service! Our waiter was friendly funny and fast! I was with a sports group of about 40, so challenging. The staff acted happy to see us, and never slowed. The food was outstanding! I had the ribs dinner with 4 giant ribs. I enjoyed the sweet dry rub. I would definitely recommend for groups of all sizes.

Amazing food, even better service. We shared 3 meat combo plate among two people and it was perfectly enough.

Hungry for some good barbeque? Quit wasting precious time reading reviews. It's really good barbeque. Just go already, then you will know from first hand experience. You could be seated and shoveling goodness in your mouth by now. Pleasant atmosphere and staff. Clean establishment.

The place looks cool and is very clean. It smelled delicious as soon as we walked in. The staff are so kind, too! Our waitress was wonderful and attentive. Also, the bbq was delicious. I'm from Texas, so my expectations were high, but I was pleasantly surprised. The brisket and ribs were great. Now, I do object to bbq sauce being added on top! That's a no go, people. The meat should speak for itself! Also, I was taken aback by SWEET sweet potato fries. I've never experienced that before.... I'm used to savory sweet potato fries. There should be a disclaimer on the menu, but they were yummy (more like dessert). The ONLY compliment I have is that the cheese fries app was NOT good. I would stay away from that. Just get some ribs and brisket and call it a day.
